Key Stage 1
At HEMA Tutorial, we provide high-quality Maths and English tuition for Key Stage 1 students based on the National Curriculum. Our experienced tutors use interactive and engaging methods to help your child develop essential skills in counting, addition, subtraction, reading, writing, and phonics. We also focus on developing a love of learning by incorporating fun and creative activities into our lessons. Our tutors create their own content to supplement the National Curriculum and provide a well-rounded understanding of these core subjects.
Key Stage 2 (11+ Exams)
In Key Stage 2, our Maths and English tuition is designed to build on the foundation laid in Key Stage 1 and to prepare students for the 11+ entrance exam. Our experienced tutors use the National Curriculum as a framework to cover topics such as multiplication, division, fractions, geometry, reading comprehension, creative and transactional writing skills, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. We create our own content and provide focussed lessons to supplement the National Curriculum and to help students achieve success in the 11+ exam. Our tutors also incorporate creative and critical thinking activities into our lessons to provide our students with a well-rounded understanding of these core subjects, preparing them for success in both the 11+ exam and beyond.
Key Stage 3
We understand that Key Stage 3 is a critical stage in a student's academic journey. Our Maths and English tuition for Key Stage 3 is designed to help students build on their existing knowledge and develop a deeper understanding of these core subjects.
